I”m super excited to finally share this oh so yummy cookie recipe for White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies! They are absolutely phenomenal and perfect for Christmas Cookie Exchanges or gifting! They’re full of texture from the cranberries & chocolate chips and when you taste them combined with that REAL butter y’all it’s a crazy good experience. Also, doesn’t it make you think they’re sort of healthy since they have Cranberries inside? Let’s say so and just move along to the recipe!
Can we pause for a moment and just think about how much fun it is to celebrate Jesus’ birth y’all?
I love these cookies for Christmas because the small pops of red make them way festive and perfect for your family & friends to grub on! I think making things like this in December just start to get your heart ready for the excitement of Christmas & all it means to you. Personally, I also think that baking cookies or anything for others is just a really fun and easy way to bring in more Joy as Christmas season starts. It is so common for us to all stress out and get overwhelmed when we have to start thinking about buying gifts and spending money. I pray we make sincere efforts to never get lost in that materialistic part of Christmas.
For me Christmas is centered on the celebration of the birth of my savior, Jesus.
If He hadn’t arrived my life would be such a mess & I am thankful everyday that He came to save my life. It’s a joy to make gifts for those I love to celebrate His goodness & these cookies are a GREAT way to enjoy fellowship with everyone. I also love Christmas trees (only the real ones) and the lights that twinkle on your tree… like this one! (Mine this year- Kinda great!) I also have an obsession with red & white ornaments & love anything food related to hang on my tree. Back to White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies !
The most special part of these White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies is I was able to make these to raise awareness for Cookies4Kids !
These sweet guys raise money for kids who have cancer and they use COOKIES as a way to gain participation! I really think they’re awesome and I can’t think of a sweeter and EASIER way to help support such a great cause. Please visit them to buy some cookies for your friends and families & support some precious little folks with BIG needs! (Seriously-go find them on Instagram and Say I sent you to support their cause!!!)
They are really beautiful and fairly simple to make! I made them massive size because it just felt right for this batch. They were literally the size of my palm. Bigger is better- no matter what whoever may tell you, size matters friends! ; ) These White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies are addictive and shareable with co-workers for sure as well as any potluck you may attend this season.
FYI & What Not:
- Leave yourself enough time to store the dough in the fridge overnight or at least 1 hour after mixing. It’s so much better
- Don’t use fresh cranberries, they just don’t work as well & are messy & make them goopy. (how is Goopy not a word?)
- Use good chocolate chips- the store brands aren’t as good and since this is white chocolate you want to go for a brand like Ghiridelli if you can!
- They can be made YEAR round! Don’t wait for Christmas!
I wish I had taken better pictures but, with the craziness of this month it was super challenging. Oh, the biggest detail- how you can help next year! These cookies were made to join in a fun swap called FBCookieSwap! It’s where lots of food bloggers were matched with each other and you get 3 different types of cookies mailed to you! Who wouldn’t want to do this?! I received 3 very different types of cookies from all over the US & it was so much fun coming home to a random box of them!
There are so many fun way to dress up cookies & I think these bags with sweet gift tags were perfect. What do you think?
So, PIN this recipe so you can make these beauties! Find Cookies4Kids online and support them for the sake of sweet little guys in serious need. You may get lucky enough to be matched with ME and I promise you’ll LOVE the cookies I send!
I hope y’all have a super fun Friday & are making cookies this weekend! I also more than anything hope you remember JESUS is what Christmas is all about- please take a moment of 399 to remember His sacrifice & thank the God we serve for the birth of His sweet son. Make these White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies soon!
