Happy Thursday sweet friends! I just wanted to drop a quick post to tell y’all about a collaboration I am so excited to be included on!

I along with a couple dozen of other bloggers around the world are bringing you an advent count-down in the form of spice & treats! Food, food and more food will help you celebrate Advent and in the process share a recipe that you may want to try with your own families. Jenny from @Jennyisbaking.com had this lovely idea and I am so excited y’all!

Beginning tomorrow you can visit a new blogger everyday to reveal a new recipe that is based upon a spice native to their region. I can’t wait to share mine but, you’ll have to wait until December 19!

To some people Advent is just another reason to share gifts and they don’t see it as such a season of reflection and anticipation of celebration. Sweet King Jesus’ birth literally rocked the world y’all. His birth is worth celebrating everyday obviously but, even more in sadness we celebrate his willingness to die on the cross. Because of that we have grace upon grace to celebrate advent and the joy that is Jesus.  Even more, as believers we pray for Jesus to return and rescue us from this fallen world right?

So, weather you celebrate advent with sweet tiny windows with prizes or chocolate inside or you light the candles and reflect super lots, I hope you’ll remember every day how precious that gift is to your life!

Make sure to visit the below bloggers to “open a new window”!

Happy almost Weekend!

all my love.

Jennifer
